Travel
on the train for the First Time
Last year, I was seventeenth years
old. I had graduated from my senior high school and I wanted to continue my
education in Surabaya. Actually, I lived with my family in Pasuruan. So, I need
to go to Surabaya for seeking a boarding house.
I went to Surabaya by train, Before I
came to the train station, I did not know how to check in. All procedures were
so new for me. Fortunately, I was not alone. My friend, Lula, accompanied me to
go to Surabaya. So, we still had fun although we were confused. Suddenly, there
was another friend, Sandra who came to the station, then helped and gave us
some directions to check-in. After that, we entered the train and sat on the
chair.
Lula and I really enjoyed it when we
were on the train. Because it was our first time to travel by train. Then,
after an hour on the train, finally, we arrived in Surabaya. We would start our
journey to look for the boarding house by online transportation. I was really
excited to start my new adventure in the new city, especially accompanied by my
friend.
My Vacation with My Lovely Friend
One day, my friend named Laili said to me that she really wanted
to go to walk around Malang. So I promised her that the next week we would go
to Malang.
The next week, we bought the ticket for the train for the
afternoon. Because in the morning I had the other agenda to meet with my
organization. In the afternoon, we made an appointment that we directly met in
the station. Before the train is going, we took our pictures together in front
of the station. And then, our trip began. We enjoyed our journey. It took 3
hours to arrive there. Then, we bought drinks and snacks in the nearest market.
After that, we took a rest while ate the beverages. We began to look for the mosque
to take prayer because we spent our time on the train. After that, we started
to walk around and enjoyed the scenery. Then, we decided to eat go to Malang
Town Square. Next, took a picture in every spot. Finally, we were tired also
starving. Automatically, we decided to look for food, and we found a meatball
stall and go there directly.
In the end, we realized that we should go to the station early to
avoid the lateness. Luckily we were on time. On the way, we were tired and
sleepy. We arrived home at 8 p.m. We were absolutely happy.
My
First Experience to Ride a Motorcycle
Last
year, when I was 15 years old, my oldest brother bought a motorcycle. That was
Ninja Kawasaki. I wanted to know how to ride it. I persuaded my oldest brother
to teach me to ride the motorcycle.
However,
my brother refused my request. He promised that he would teach me to ride the
motorcycle about three or four years later, but I still whimpered. Finally, my
brother accepted my request and he wanted to teach me to ride a motorcycle.
Three days later, my brother and I went to the field to teach me how to ride a
motorcycle. My brother was very patient to give me some directions. I was very
nervous because that was my first time riding a motorcycle. One week later, my
family visited my grandmother in Jogja, about 4 hours from my home. Because of
that, I was alone at home. So, I had the opportunity to ride a motorcycle
lonely. I drove about 6 km but after that I got nervous and I lost control
because the street was narrow and I crashed into the wall. Then, I directly
called my brother by phone to tell him about the accident.
I
imagined my brother would be angry. But the reality was exactly the contrary,
my brother was not angry. He just gave me some advice. Since that accident, I
promised I would always ask my brother’s permission to ride his motorcycle.
